How to install TWRP Recovery on Karbonn Smart Tab 8 Velox [ST8] : Version 1 & 2

Disclaimer:

• Your warranty might get void if you install TWRP Recovery.
• I am not responsible any damage done, proceed with your own risk.

• This method is tested and 100% working and will work for you too. :)
• Version of the tablet can be identified by S/N:*********** ver 1 or ver 2 at the back panel of the device.
• Charge your device to 75% or more before you start to prevent unwanted shutdowns.
• As always, backup everything you feel is important just in case.

INSTALL TWRP RECOVERY :

1. Go to Settings > Development Options > check USB Debugging.
2. Again Go to settings > Security and check Unknown Sources to install Apps from third party.
3. For Version 1 : Download TWRP-2.4.4.0-ST8ver1.zip
   For Version 2 : Download TWRP-2.4.4.0-ST8ver2.zip and transfer it to your tablet's external sd card. (do NOT extract it).
4. Power off the tablet.
5. After the tablet completely shuts down, press the Volume Down and Power buttons simultaneously till the Karbonn logo appears.
6. You will boot into stock recovery. Press Volume Up and Down to scroll, while the Power button will select the highlighted item.
7. Scroll to and select Apply update from EXT/sdcard.
   Then browse to the location of the
   TWRP-2.4.4.0-ST8ver1.zip for Version 1 &
   TWRP-2.4.4.0-ST8ver2.zip for Version 2
   file and select it.
8. The flashing process will start and complete within a minute.
9. As soon as you will flash it, it will boot your tab into TWRP Recovery or Reboot your tablet.
   BOOM..!!
   TWRP Recovery is installed in Your Tab is Successfully..!! :D

Follow this steps ONLY if you accidently flashed ver:1 TWRP in your ver:2 Tab and your TWRP Recovery Screen/Touch is non-responsive :

• Download recovery.img of the stock firmware ST8 and transfer it to your external sd card.
• On reboot it will automatically take you to stock recovery.
• Now you can flash TWRP-2.4.4.0-ST8ver2.zip by above steps. :)
